In late summer of 2018 Lyndel King, the Director of the Weisman Art Museum asked me to design a catalog for an upcoming two-year exhibition. The show is based on “Mingei,” and demonstrates how this concept of work has been passed along through four generations of ceramic artists. When the 94 page catalog was delivered to the museum I received this email.
